2019 Volkswagen Jetta set for Detroit unveil

The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta will be unveiled next January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The new Jetta will feature a bold new design, impressive and improved performance characteristics, and a wide range of additional features and connectivity technology, not to mention vastly improved safety.

A 2019 Volkwagen Jetta that is better in every way

The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta will first be noticeable by its vastly improved design that mimics what we see on the new Volkswagen Tiguan and Volkswagen Atlas. We are talking about a massive grill here with imposing headlights that nevertheless still create a refined and overall elegant and luxurious look.

The 2019 Volkswagen Jetta will also feature a more dynamic drive thanks to the MQB platform on which it is built. This platform will improve how the Jetta behaves in every possible way. A base 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine will still be available, and we also expect to see a more powerful engine for the returning GLI variant. Expect more interior space, a more refined cabin, and the very latest active safety technologies.
